At Peacock Technology we develop robotics and artificial intelligence systems to help food producers reduce their labour requirements, improve long term food sustainability, and improve animal welfare. We provide a range of products using robotics, machine vision and sensing technologies to monitor cow behaviour and provide farmer insights for disease prevention, welfare, and sustainability. Our multi-disciplined development team includes engineers specialising in software, electronics, mathematics, and mechanical engineering. We also have close working relationships with universities, colleges, and research organisations.
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, talented, and self-motivated candidate to join our operations team providing product support to our customers and strategic partners.
This role will work closely beside the Product Administrator and report directly to the Operations Manager.

What sort of tasks will you undertake within our product support team?
Customer Support activities
- Log support calls.
- Create customer accounts.
- Resolve customer login issues.
- Support customers as required.
- Proactively monitor customer sites.
- Contact customer to resolve discovered issues.
- Working knowledge of Linux is desirable but not essential.
- Onsite support (Occasional).
Company Support activities
- Update/create knowledge base.
- Providing client and internal training where appropriate.
- Document the processes and write user guides.
- Configure products.
- Write specification documents.
- Verify solutions.
- Ensure solutions are tested.
- Producing Usage Reports.
- Office 365 admiration tasks
Data Support Activities
- Carry out Data Manipulation.
- Carry out Data Cleaning and Mapping.
- Carry out Data Import/Exports.
To be considered for interview you will have:
- 2-3 Years’ relevant experience in a similar role within a support team at a computer software company or IT related business.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, proficient in Excel and data mapping.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent phone manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
